About Minchinhampton Local History Group

The aim of the Local History Group is to research, preserve and educate about the history of Minchinhampton and the surrounding area.

Talks are held regularly throughout the year at “The Hub” in Tobacconist Road. During the summer there are visits or walks and every two years a major exhibition is held in Minchinhampton Market House over a weekend in October. Meetings are well attended, by both members and guests and for those who wish to do their own research there is a Local History Collection, held in the basement of the Trap House, by kind permission of Minchinhampton Parish Council.

If you are interested in joining the Local History Group, you can download a membership form membership-2017 and return it, with the appropriate fee, to the address given.
